We’re thrilled to celebrate 18 incredible years of RUGGERBUGS, the UK’s unique toddler rugby-inspired development programme, dedicated to giving children a real HEAD START in life.
🏉 A Passion That Sparked a Movement
Back in 2007, as parents of an energetic toddler, we couldn’t find a quality, age-appropriate sports activity for young children in the Essex / Herts area. So, using over 30 years of rugby coaching experience, we created one — and launched the very first RUGGERBUGS class on 22nd July 2007.
What started as a side project quickly became a full-time mission. By 2008, we were running 12 sessions per week. By 2011, RUGGERBUGS became our full-time focus. Today, we are a trusted, award-winning, and fully accredited children’s activity provider.
